There is a new Fan Van set up this season and the female members of our little group went on an expedition to check it out and came back all smiles waving stickers , desk calendars and number plate surrounds .

The new Ladies toilets also received a pass mark from those that used them too . Made a change not having to listen to the usual moans so well done to Rotorua for finally sorting out one of the worse aspects of a night in Paradise Valley .

What more can I say . The racing was good with acceptable numbers in all grades except perhaps the Modifieds . The classes that weren't supposed to crash didn't and the ones that are meant to touch did a bit .

The three tongues of the commentating crew did a good job and were knowledgeable in their subject matter . The sound system was working good .

Fat Dog Caterers are the new kids supplying the munchies at Paradise Valley this season and the range of delicacies on offer is tempting to say the least .  Click the image to read the menu .  I must admit I behaved and stayed with the tried and true speedway tucker of a hot dog and chips and found the quality was just fine . Heard lots of good comments from other people but with a rider on the time it took to get served .  Everyone seemed to agree the caterers had been chucked in the deep end with such a big meeting and final judgement will be delivered once they have had a chance to get up to speed .

The Fireworks display was really what attracted a lot of the crowd and I bet they were well pleased with the superb presentation that seemed to go on forever .

The meeting started on time and finished a little after 10pm . The program ran smoothly and the only moan I have is I to wait a couple of weeks for my next slice of Paradise .
